Goda Devi Parinayam Observed

Tirumala, 16 Jan. 20: The sacred garlands brought from Andal Ammavaru located in Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati were decked to Sri Venkateswara Swamy on Thursday on the occasion of Goda Parinayam.

Earlier the procession of garlands commenced from Pedda Jiyar mutt in Tirumala and proceeded to temple.

Later the archakas decorated these garlands to Srivari signifying the celestial wedding of Goda Parinayam.
