Kakabali Performed

Tirumala, 16 Jan. 20: Kakabali, an Agamic ritual is performed in Tirumala temple on Thursday.

Kakabali (food offered to a crow which is believed to be auspicious) is performed during wee hours seeking the well being of the people. 

In this, Cooked White rice, rice mixed with vermilion and turmeric, all are offered separately to Vimana Venkateswara Swamy in Ananda Nilaya Vimanam.

HH Tirumala Pedda Jiyar Swami,  HH Chinna Jiyar Swami,  EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal,  Temple DyEO Sri Harindranath and others took part in this celestial event.
