Kuruthi Aattam

It’s pretty evident that Atharvaa Murali is on the relentless mode of shooting for multiple projects simultaneously. While the actor is currently involved in the final phase of filming for tentatively titled “Production No.3” directed and produced by R Kannan in association with MKRP Productions, he is left with only a few more portions to wrap up his another ambitious project “Kuruthi Aattam”. With the film’s first look that was unveiled recently getting wowing response, the film’s director – Sri Ganesh of 8 Thottakkal fame feels very much excited about it. While the major of the films’ first look would have the presence of the protagonist alone, “Kuruthi Aattam” has turned to be an exception. We come across Atharvaa Murali holding child artiste Divyadarshini on his back.

Briefing about this, director Sri Ganesh says, “We wanted to convey the film’s premise and henceforth decided to feature both these characters. Kuruthi Aattam is about the emotional bond that develops between the protagonist and a little girl after an accident. Although the film is an action-thriller, it will have substantial prominence emphasized on this emotional quotient as well.”

Clarifying on the current status of the project, Sri Ganesh says, “Due to external circumstances, the film’s shooting was delayed for some time. Nonetheless, the cloudy situations have been cleared and will continue to shoot the final schedule by end of January in Madurai and will wrap it up at a single stretch.”

With Priya Bhavani Shankar playing the female lead role of a teacher, Radhika Sarathkumar and Radharavi are performing the important character in the movie. The director concludes stating that Yuvan Shankar Raja’s musical score is going to be the biggest asset to the film; especially his re-recording will be something unique.

Kuruthi Aattam is produced by T. Muruganantham for Rockfort Entertainment.
