Paruveta Utsavam Held at Renigunta

Tirupati, 17 Jan. 20: The Paruveta Utsavam of Sri Govinda Raja Swamy was held at Renigunta on Friday with religious pomp and gaiety on an immediate day after Kanuma festival. 

The Utsava deities of Sri Govindaraja Swamy flanked by Sridevi, Bhudevi and Andal Ammavaru were brought to the Paruveta Mandapam located at Renigunta in the evening and Asthanam was performed by the priests as per Agamas. 

Later in the evening, the deities returned to the temple. Spl.Gr.DyEO Smt Varalakshmi and others were also present.
