TTD is Committed Towards Dharmic and Socio-Economic Renaissance- TTD EO




















Tirupati, 26 Jan. 20: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams is committed towards the for propagation, promotion and preservation of sanatana Hindu dharma linked to Socio-Economic development of the society, said TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal.

In his Republic Day address to TTD employees at parade grounds of the administrative building on Sunday, the EO highlighted the activities of TTD and also its innovative strategies for religious promotion, devotees welfare and TTD employees welfare.

He thanked the generosity of 36,000 donors who contributed nearly 386 crores to TTD during for promotion of all its activities.

TTD has successfully conducted all prestigious and challenging events like the annual brahmotsavams, Vaikuntha Ekadasi at Tirumala. All preparations are underway for the successful conduction of the Ratha sapthami festival at Tirumala on February 1, he added.

The EO said from January 20th the TTD had launched another unique devotees welfare program of free distribution of one laddu to each devotee after Srivari darshan and facility to buy additional laddus without any recommendations.

Another innovative measure of TTD was to honour the donors to Sri Venkateswara Alaya Nirmana (SRIVANI) Trust aimed to build Srivari temples in weaker section colonies linked with the privilege of one time VIP break darshan ticket on the contributions crossing Rs.10, 000. TTD has also initiated one-day meal scheme in Annaprasadam, he mentioned.

He said TTD has taken up construction of Srivari temples at various places including –

*  Mumbai (30 cr), Visakhapatnam (25 cr), Bhubaneswar (6.7 cr) Chennai (5.75cr), Seethampeta, Parvatipuram, Rampachodavaram (13.60).

* PAC-5 for 2500 devotees at 70 cr, Sri Vakulamata rest house at Tirumala at 42.86 cr.

* Queuelines, toilets etc. at Narayanagiri gardens at 41 crore.

* Hostels for TTD educational institutions for 3900 students at 100cr.

TTD has undertaken several other programs for the propagation of sanatana Hindu dharma and will be conducting Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams in a big way.

TTD board had also resolved to give 75% quota to Chittor district in all appointments of junior assistants In TTD and the posts of junior assistants would be filled ad hoc department wise as per requirement, he added.
