TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal along with JEO Sri P Basant Kumar and CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti has inspected the ongoing arrangements for the mega annual religious event of Brahmotsavams at Vontimitta temple in YSR Kadapa district on Wednesday.
Later speaking to media persons he said, every year TTD makes grand arrangements for the annual fete especially for Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam, which takes, place on April 7.
He said, as a part of it, a preliminary inspection has been carried out today. "The Honourable CM of AP Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy has already given his consent to take part in the celestial marriage. Every year we are bettering our development activities in this historical place. This year we have constructed permanent sheds", the EO added.
He also said, all the sanctioned works for the development of the temple has also been inspected. The Talambralu packets, srivari sevakulu and security measures will also be assessed soon by the concerned departments", he added.
The EO also said, the publicity activity will be taken from March 11 onwards as there are more than three weeks left for the annual Brahmotsavams to commence from April 2 onwards with Dhwajarohanam. In between a couple of inspections will be carried out and also with the local authorities ", he maintained.
Earlier, the EO inspected the ongoing works in the temple, at Kalyana Vedika and New PAC and given necessary instructions to the officials concerned. CE Sri Ramachandra Reddy, SEs Sri Ramesh Reddy, Sri Venkateswarulu, EE Sri Jaganmohan Reddy, DFO Sri Phani Kumar Naidu, Temple DyEO Sri Lokanatham and other officials participated.
While District Collector Sri Hari Kiran, Joint Collector Smt Goutami, Additional SP Sri Vrishikeshav Reddy and other officers also participated in the inspection.
POSTERS RELEASED
Meanwhile, TTD EO along with JEO released the annual brahmotsavams posters at Vontimitta temple premises on Wednesday.
The important days included Dhwajarohanam on April 2, Garuda Seva on April 6, Sita Rama Kalyanam on April 7, Rathotsavam on April 8, Chakrasnanam on April 10 and Pushpayagam on April 11.
