ON SOCIAL MEDIA RUMOURS
The EO again clarified via media and appealed to the devotees not to fall prey to the baseless rumours being spread by some vested elements on Social Media about the various religious activities in Tirumala.
Brushing aside all the recent allegations about deviation in the performance of daily rituals, the EO said, TTD has only closed darshan for devotees under the instructions of Central and State governments in view of the spread of dreadful Corona COVID 19 virus. "But the daily rituals to the presiding deity of Lord Venkateswara from Suprabhatam to Ekantam are being performed by the Archaka swamys without deviation as per Agamas under the supervision of Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jiyar Swami of Tirumala. In spite of our repeated clarifications, these miscreants are spreading wrong news via Social Media platform. I pray lord to give them wisdom and avoid spreading
false news against TTD", he added.
