Jyestabhishekam Begins at Srivari Temple

Tirumala, 4 Jun. 20: The holy traditional three day ritual of Jyestabhisekam aimed at reviving the divine charm and vibrations of the Srivari and his consorts utsava idols commenced in the Srivari temple on Thursday morning in the Kalyana Mandapam of the sampangi prakaram. 

The ritwiks completed the kankana dharana after the snapana thirumanjanam rituals at the yagashala with Shanti Homam, shata kalasha Protista avahana, Nava kalasha avahana and kankana Pratista. 

Later in the evening the utsava idols of Lord Malayappaswamy and his consorts will be adorned with diamond kavacham.
