Pushpayagam Held at Sri Govindaraja Swamy Vari Temple

Tirupati, 27 Jun. 20: The annual Pushpayagam held at Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati on Saturday. 

This fete is usually performed as Sin Free festival to the omissions and commissions committed either knowingly or unknowingly by religious staff,  employees and devotees during annual brahmotsavams.

It may be mentioned that annual fete took place in the temple between May 28 and June 5. 

The deities were seated on a special platform and floral fete performed between 3pm and 5pm with tonnes of traditional flowers. The entire ritual was performed by Chief Priest Sri Srinivasa Dikshitulu.
