Pavitrotsavam Concludes at Sri Govindaraja Swamy Vari Temple

 

Tirupati, 30 Aug. 20: The three-day festival of Pavitrotsavam festival concludes at Sri Govindarajaswamy temple on Sunday with the Purnahuti ritual.

 

As part of the ritual the utsava idols of swami and His consorts were given a grand Snapana Tirumanjanam in the morning.

 

Later in the evening Vaidka programs of Purnahuti, Prabhanda Sattumora, Veda Sattumora held in the Yagashala and thereafter the utsava idols and the Kumbhakarna were brought to sanctum in a procession inside the temple.

 

Tirumala pontiffs Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy and Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, Special Grade Dy EO Smt Varalakshmi and others were also present.
