Tirumala, 13 Oct. 20:The TTD Executive Officer Dr KS Jawahar Reddy said that the Srivari Navaratri Brahmotsavams will be held in Ekantham inside Srivari temple as was done during the Srivari annual Brahmotsavams last month in Tirumala.
Speaking to media at the construction site of New Parakamani building in Tirumala on Tuesday he said TTD had taken the decision of organising Navaratri Brahmotsavams in Ekantham keeping in accordance with the guidelines of Central and State Governments in view of ongoing spurt in COVID-19 cases across the country.
The TTD EO said after prolonged negotiations with TTD Chairman, Additional EO, District collector, JEO, DIG, CVSO he had taken this decision in the health interests of devotees.
Replying to a question he said there is no idea to increase the number of Srivari online darshan tickets as of now in view of Brahmotsavam events observed in Ekantham.
EO INSPECTS VARIOUS PLACES
Earlier TTD EO inspected several locations inside the Srivari temple and he was apprised in detail about the vahana sevas in Ekantham that will take place at Vahana Mandapam by the Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.
He also visited Anna Prasadam Potu, Parakamani, Vagapadi, Laddu counters, Boondi Potu. He also inspected the ongoing works of the new Parakamani Building opposite Annaprasadam Complex.
CE Sri Ramesh Reddy, Srivari temple DyEO Sri Harindranath, VGO Sri Manohar, Health Officer Dr R R Reddy, Temple Peishkar Sri Jaganmohanacharyulu, Potu Peishkar Sri Srinivas and others also were present.
