Deepavali Asthanam at Srivari Temple on 14th Nov

Tirumala, 14 Nov. 20: Deepavali Asthanam has been observed with religious fervour in Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple at Tirumala on Saturday. 

 

This annual event was held at the Ghanta Mandapam located in front of Bangaru Vakili between 7am and 9am. Sri Malayappa along with His consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi accompanied by Senadhipati Sri Viswaksena facing Garudalwar. After Asthanam, special Naivedyam and Harati rendered to deities.

 

TTD has cancelled the Kalyanotsavam, Unjal seva and Arjita Brahmotsavam in view of Deepavali Asthanam celebrations in the temple on Saturday.  

 

Speaking on this occasion, Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy said he prayed Lord to weed off the enemies who are creating tensions at the border and demolish Covid virus and bestow blessings on people of the country as well across the globe.
