Koil Alwar Thirumanjanam performed at Sri Padmavati Ammavar

 Tirupati, 3 Nov. 20:  Ahead of annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Padmavati Ammavari Brahmotsavam slated from November 11-19, the TTD organised grand Koil Alwar Thirumanjanam, Temple cleansing ceremony at Sri Padmavati Ammavari temple on Tuesday morning.

 

Speaking on the occasion, the TTD JEO Sri P Basant Kumar said blessings of. Goddess Padmavati was sought for the successful conduct of annual Brahmotsavam held in ekantham inside the temple with only temple staff and Archakas in view of Covid-19 guidelines.

 

He said special prayers were for complete eradication of Covid and relief to global humanity.

 

Earlier the temple was cleansed as per Agama traditions and devotees were allowed darshan after prokshana of holy water all over the temple.

 

12 SCREENS DONATED

 

Devotee couple from Hyderabad Sri Adakatta Srinivasulu and Smt Sharada have donated 12 curtains for the Sri Padmavati Ammavari temple on the eve of the annual Brahmotsavam.

 

The TTD JEO revived the donation from the couple this morning at the temple.

 

DyEO Smt Jhansi Rani, VGO Sri Bali Reddy, AEO Sri Subramaniam, AVSO Sri Chiranjeevi, Temple inspector Sri Rajesh Kanna were present.
