Karvetinagaram, 17 Dec. 20: As directed by the Honourable CM of AP Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy, our priority is to propagate Hindu Sanatana Dharma, said TTD chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy on Thursday.
He participated in the foundation stone laying ceremony for development works worth ₹159.50 lakhs at Karvetinagaram in the presence of Dy CM Sri A Narayana Swamy.
It also included the construction of a Nirali Mandapam in Skanda Pushkarini costing ₹ 1 crore, CC Road from Sri Venugopal swamy temple to Pushkarini costing ₹42 lakhs, beautification of Pushkarini at ₹9 lakhs and installation of Borewell and pipelines at ₹8.50 lakhs.
Addressing a meeting later the TTD Chairman said under aegis of HDPP Srivari temples were being built in Weaker sections colonies of both AP and Telangana.
He said TTD is organising Gudiko Gomata program all over the country and already launched in AP and Karnataka during the holy month of Karthika.
The Chairman also said upon the request of Deputy CM Sri Narayana Swamy funds released for development works in Karvetinagaram temple and for repairs for Kalyana Mandapams.
Deputy CM Sri Narayana Swamy thanked the TTD chairman for merger of two temples of Alathur and Kanigirikonda with TTD.
Earlier the TTD Chairman offered prayers at Sri Varadaraja Swamy temple Alathur and Sri Venugopal Swamy temple, Karvetinagaram.
Chittoor MP Sri Reddappa,MLAS Sri M S Babu, Sri J Srinivasulu, TTD chief engineer Sri Ramesh Reddy, Spl.Gr.DyEO Smt Varalakshmi, HDPP executive members Sri Penchalaih and others were present.
