Tirupati,15 Dec. 20: The 131st Birth Anniversary of renowned epigraphist, first peishkar of Tirumala temple Sri Sadhu Subrahmanya Sastry will be observed on December 17.

Floral tributes will be paid to the life size statue of Sri Sastri located in front of SVETA Bhavan by TTD officials followed by a lecture on his contributions in bringing to light the historical legacy of Tirumala temple by decoding the inscriptions engraved on temple walls, Annamayya Sankeertans on copper plates etc.
