Tirupati 22 December 2020: With just two more days left for the big day of Vaikuntha Ekadasi, TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy along with Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy inspected all the token issuing centres for Vaikunta Dwara Darshan in Tirumala temple in Tirupati on Tuesday.
Speaking to media persons, EO said, Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan will be open for pilgrims in Tirumala temple from December 25 to January 3. Already we have issued online tickets to pilgrims for these 10 days. The Offline tickets will be issued from December 24. In view of the prevailing Covid situation, we made repeated appeals to devotees that this time, offline tokens will be issued to only locals. He also alarmed of the latest stain which was discovered in UK and cautioned devotees to follow all Covid norms while obtaining tokens at offline counters.
"We have already set up 5 centres at different places in Tirupati including, Municipal Corporation, MR Palle Market, Ramachandra Pushkarini, Mahati Auditorium, Bairagipatteda Ramanaidu Municipal High School premises. Enough security arrangements have also been made at all these points", he added.
CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti, TMC Commissioner Sri Girisha, CE Sri Ramesh Reddy, SE1 Sri Jagadeeshwar Reddy, Additional CVSO Sri Siva Kumar Reddy, GM IT Sri Sesha Reddy, DSP Sri Murali Krishna were also present.
