Tirumala, 27 Jan. 21: TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy said that TTD is keen to take up massive dharmic programs at Kanyakumari in Tamilnadu in collaboration with Vivekananda trust.
Participating in the second anniversary of the Srivari temple at Kanyakumari, the Chairman said TTD would construct a Kalyana Mandapam at Kanyakumari if the Vivekanda Trust donates land.
Earlier the Chairman couple participated in religious programs like Punyahavachanam etc. at the temple.
He said dharmic programs at Kanyakumari have slackened due to Covid guidelines but will be resumed after normalcy.
He said the TTD board and Agama pundits will take a decision on the request of devotees for consecrating a Garudalwar statue in the SV temple premises at Kanyakumari.
He also assured construction of an approach road to SV temple at Kanyakumari soon.
TTD board members Sri Sekhar Reddy, Dr Nischita and others were also present.
