Tirumala, 14 Feb. 21: As TTD is all set to observe, the one-day mega-festival, Radha Sapthami on February 19, the TTD Security and Police held a thorough inspection and reviewed on arrangements on Sunday at Tirumala.
Due to Covid lockdown during last year, TTD held all mega utsavams in Ekantam only including annual and Navarathri brahmotsavams in 2020. Even the vahana sevas were observed in Ekantam.
As the Covid restrictions have now been relaxed, TTD had decided to observe Radha Sapthami-the one day mini Brahmotsavam with the procession of Saptha Vahanas along four Mada streets, by allowing only those pilgrims who have darshan tickets. This is going to be the first mega-festival after the relaxation of Covid restrictions.
TTD CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti along with Tirupati Urban SP Sri Venkatappala Naidu inspected the four-Mada streets, Vahana Mandapam, parking areas etc. along with other TTD Vigilance and Police officials on Sunday in Tirumala.
REVIEW MEETING HELD
The TTD Security and Police officials later reviewed on the arrangements at Annamaiah Bhavan.
They discussed in to elaborate on how to verify and allow pilgrims with tickets at Alipiri itself, the security set up at various entry and exit points in galleries, barricading etc.
They also discussed on the problem areas which they confronted in previous years and the solution for such issues through powerpoint presentation.
ASP Sri Muniramaiah, DSP Sri Prabhakar, VGOs Sri Manohar, Sri Prabhakar, other police officials and TTD Vigilance and Security sleuths were also present.
