Tirumala, 05 March 2021: After receiving overwhelming response from global devotees for it's Karthika, Dhanur, Magha Masa Utsavams, TTD is now set to observe series of spiritual programmes in the ensuing Phalguna Masam, said TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy.
Before taking calls from pilgrim callers during the monthly Dial your EO Programme held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala, the EO briefed on the development activities taken up by TTD for the sake of pilgrims and upcoming festivals. He said as part of the promotion of Hindu Sanatana Dharma, TTD has been observing various rituals and pujas in different Telugu months. In the ensuing Phalguna Masam also, series of religious events have been lined up including Mrulingarchana, Aamalaki Ekadasi, Lakshmi Jayanthi, Seetlastami etc.
The EO said, Arjita sevas which were stopped since Covid lockdown in March 2020 to be revived from April 14 for devotees with who have booked in advance. He also said Covid test certification before three days (72hours) is a must for the devotees who are taking part in Arjitha Sevas.
He said from March 24 to 28, annual Srivari float festival (Teppotsavams) will be observed at Tirumala in Swami Pushkarini.
The EO briefed on TTD board resolution to write to Government of India seeking to declare Cow as a national animal. He said TTD is organising annual brahmotsavams in all local temples at Srinivasa Mangapuram, Kapilatheertham, and Kodandaramaswamy in Ekantam.
Upon the request of pilgrim devotees, we soon introduce Tulabharam also at Tiruchanoor on the lines of Srivari temple, EO added.
Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, JEO Smt Sada Bhargavi, CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti, CE Sri Ramesh Reddy, CEO SVBC Sri Suresh Kumar were also present.
