TIRUMALA, 11 JUNE 2021: With the benign blessings of Sri Venkateswara Swamy I reached this apex level in my career, said the Honourable Chief Justice of India, Justice NV Ramana.
The CJI who is on a two-day maiden visit to Tirumala after taking over the reigns of the Supreme Court offered prayers in the hill shrine of Sri Venkateswara Swamy along with his family on Friday.
Speaking to SVBC after darshan he said he has come across many interesting incidents in his life. It is with the grace of Venkateswara Swamy what I am today. With His blessings I will do my best to take up the legal system to the next level", he added.
Earlier, on his arrival at Mahadwaram, he was received by TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy and EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy and was offered traditional Isthikaphal Welcome by temple priest Sri Venugopala Deekshitulu.
Later he offered prayers in front of Sri Venkateswara Swamy. After this followed Vedaseervachanam in Ranganayakula Mandapam by Vedic pundits.
Chairman and EO offered Theertha Prasadams to the dignitary.
Among other prominent personalities who were present included local MLA and TTD Board member Sri B Karunakar Reddy, Dr Nischita, Sri Siva Kumar, Sri DP Ananta, Sri Parthasaradhi, Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti and others.
Later the CJI offered Coconuts at Akhilandam and fulfilled his wish and also paid visit to Sri Bedi Anjaneya Swamy temple.
