As per the instructions of the Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri K.Chandrashekar Rao, Chief Secretary Sri Somesh Kumar,IAS along with Sri S.AM Rizvi, Secretary, Health, Dr.Ramesh Reddy, Director, Medical Education and other officials visited Niloufer and MNJ Cancer Hospitals today.
The Chief Secretary visited paediatric ICU at Niloufer
Hospital and paediatric leukaemia ward in MNJ Cancer Hospital and other wards.
He interacted with the doctors and parents of the Children undergoing
treatment. He also went around the hospital premises and inspected the
infrastructure and other facilities available in the hospitals.
The Chief Secretary said that Government is taking all
measures to tackle with any outbreak-off pandemic situation arises in the
State. He said that bed strength will be increased as per requirement in Government Hospitals. Chief
Secretary said that necessary Medical Equipment, Medicines, Human Resources
will be made available in all the hospitals where children are being treated in
the state. He said that paediatric infrastructure will be developed in
hospitals to handle the situation effectively. He directed the TSIIC officials
to speed up the civil works being taken up in the hospital premises.
