Hyderabad, July 28: Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan on Wednesday called for the further strengthening of cultural bonds with the Republic of Estonia.
She said that there is a
greater scope for further collaboration in business, commerce, Information
Technology for the mutual benefit of the two countries.
The Governor was interacting
with HE Katrin Kivi, Ambassador of Republic of Estonia to India when the latter
virtually called on the Governor from Raj Bhavan, here. The Governor interacted
with the Ambassador from Raj Nivas in Puducherry.
The Governor welcomed the
partnership between the Telangana State and the Republic of Estonia in the
areas of Information Technology, Cyber Security, and other digital
technologies.
Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan
stated that the Telangana for its rich cultural and traditional heritage offers
great scope for cultural exchanges and strengthening of the bonds between the
two countries.
The Governor called for the
promotion of tourism, business, partnership in medical infrastructure and
cultural exchanges between the two countries.
HE Katrin Kivi explained about
her country’s keen interest in partnering with the India and Telangana State in
areas like IT, Cyber Security, and other digital technologies, as the adoption
of digital technologies witnessed massive increase during the COVID-19
pandemic.
