Speaking to media after Ravana Samharam from Yuddhakanda episode recitation was completed at Vasantha Mandapam on Tuesday, he said Sri Mahavishnu took the human incarnation of Sri Rama to show the world that when Dharma is followed evil cannot survive. All His life Sri Rama followed Dharma and killed the powerful demon king Ravana. "Similarly all of us, if we follow our Dharma, we can get rid of Corona"' he maintained.
Later he appreciated the efforts of Pundits, SVBC and Garden wings for successfully taking forward the programme. "On the last day of Bhagavat Gita, we will lay similar setting of Vishwaroopa Darshanam of Sri Krishna ", he added.
Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham Principal Sri KSS Avadhani who led the massive recitation programme said, since June 11 onwards the Yuddhakanda shlokas are being recited. Today in Ravana Samharam, 270shlokas from 109 to 114 sargas have been recited. The 111 chapter consists of Rama killing Ravana.
The Annamacharya Project artists rendered songs relevant to the situation while the Ashoka Vanam settings erected matching the occasion caught everyone's attention.
Sri Rama with Panchayudhas was seated on Hanuman while Lakshmana Swamy on Aswa Vahana and Sita Devi and Anjaneya also seated separately.
