SVBC Is A Chief Tool to Take Forward Hindu Dharma Prachara- TTD Eo









Describing Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel as a chief tool to take forward Hindu Sanatana Dharma in an effective manner among masses, TTD Dr KS Jawahar Reddy said, more spiritual programs are in offing.

 

Taking part in the 13th Anniversary of SVBC in Tirupati on Wednesday, the EO said, the role played by this channel in the last 12 years in Bhakti Prachara is noteworthy while in the past one and a half years is a memorable one as the numerous programs live telecasted by SVBC boosted confidence among devotees across the world who are gripped in fear waves due to Covid pandemic.

 

The literature of Vengamamba seen the light due to this channel. He said it is been directed to chalk out annual programmes to be telecasted in the channel to the concerned officials. The programmes should focus on Vedas, Puranas, Itihasa, Sanskrit, Gosamrakshana, Organic cultivation etc. The programmes of this nature will definitely enlighten different sections of society, he strongly opined.

 

The Hanuman Jayanthi programmes telecasted by this channel won accolades across the globe as soon as TTD declared Tirumala Anjanadri as the birthplace of Anjaneya. Similar way, we take up more and more spiritual programs in future through SVBC, he added.

 

The Chairman of SVBC Dr Saikrishna Yachendra said, under the stewardship of SVBC MD and Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, the channel has set a new record in establishing the highest TRP rating among devotional channels with unique spiritual programs in the last one and a half years, he maintained. In future also we are contemplating more and more such programs with a blend of our rich literature and classical music to be telecasted on SVBC", he informed.

 

Later, prizes were given away to the winners among the staff of SVBC in the competitions held on the occasion of the 13th anniversary of the reputed devotional channel by delegates.

 

JEO Smt Sada Bhargavi, National Sanskrit University Vice-Chancellor Sri Muralidhara Sharma, SVBC CEO Sri Suresh Kumar, Director Sri. Srinivasa Reddy, Chief Audit Officer Sri Seshasailendra, PRO Dr T Ravi were also present.
