Tulasi Utsavam Observed in Sri Goivndaraja Swamy Vari Templ

TIRUPATI, 21 JULY 2021: The celestial Tulasi Mahatya Utsavam was observed with religious ecstasy in Sri Govindaraja Swamy temple at Tirupati on Wednesday.

 

During the day, Sri Govindaraja Swamy flanked by Sridevi and Bhudevi were brought in Simha Vahanam and Asthanam was performed at Bangaru Vakili. The Archakas read out Tulasi Mahatyam episode from Puranas on this auspicious occasion.

 

Both the Senior and Junior Pontiffs of Tirumala, Special Grade DyEO Sri Rajendrudu and other officials were present in this fete which was observed in Ekantam due to Covid 19 restrictions.
