Mahasamprokshana Begins at Karvetinagaram Temple

TTD commenced the Mahasamprokshanam programs at Sri Venugopala Swami temple in Karvetinagaram on Monday in Ekantha due to Covid restrictions.

 
The unique Vedic program will conclude on August 27 with Maha Purnahuti, Vimana Samprokshana and Gopura Samprokshana rituals.

The Vaidika programs began at the Yagashala in the morning and the Agni Pratista, Kumbha Sthapana will be observed in the evening. Similarly, Vaidika programs will continue daily till August 26. On August 27 Kalyanotsavam will be performed to Swami and Ammavaru followed by a grand procession in the temple.

Special grade DyEO Smt Parvati, Agama Advisor Dr Vedanta Vishnu Bhattacharya, Superintendent Sri Ramesh, temple inspector Sri Kumar were present.
