BIRRD Should be in Numero Uno Place inSurgeries - TTD Eo

TTD-run BIRRD Ortho super speciality hospital should stand first in Ortho related disease detection and surgeries, said TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy.

 

Reviewing on BIRRD activities at Sri Padmavathi Rest House in Tirupati, the EO said the hospital should be made into a centre for treating Cerebral Palsy detection and surgeries.

 

He directed the officials concerned to come out with an action plan on men power requirement, area to set up an exclusive ward to treat such cases etc.

 

He later instructed the concerned officials to visit AIIMS to observe the quality of treatment being extended to their patients and implement the same standards in BIRRD also.

 

The EO directed the Engineering Officials to prepare designs to set up a Canteen in BIRRD. He also instructed to take measures to procure required medicines directly from BIRRD instead of enroute through the Chief Medical Officer of TTD.

 

Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, FACAO Sri Balaji, CE Sri Nageswara Rao, RMO Sri Sesha Sailendra, OSD of BIRRD Dr Reddeppa Reddy were also present.
