All arrangements for the two-day Go Maha Sammelan organised by TTD at Mahati auditorium in Tirupati are in place to host the mega event on Saturday.
The pilgrim city of Tirupati is all set to receive pontiffs and heads of over 30 mutts across the country, exponents of Go-based organic farming and nearly 2000 farmers who are coming to participate in this unique fete.
The Mahati auditorium is colourfully decorated with flowers and electrical illumination. The rangoli done on cow dung water smeared floor recreated the traditional village look. Over 50 Srivari Sevakulu are involved in these activities.
The welcome arches made of banana, mango leaves and coconut bunches and decorative flower garlands have infused a village-style environment at the stage.
24 stalls have also been set up at the Mahati premises showcasing recent initiatives taken up by TTD including Agarbattis, Pancha gavya products, TTD publications, Dry flower technology products like portraits etc.
The Yuga Tulasi Foundation and SEVA Organization has put up 20 stalls to display traditional oil grinds, Pancha gavya products, Desi ghee products, organic seeds, traditional cooking vessels, herbal products, kalamkari artefacts and other organic products by farmers from all regions of AP and Telangana.
All farmer delegates for the Sammelan from both Telugu states are being accommodated at Srinivasam, SV rest house, the 2&3 Choultries, Padmavathi Nilayam in Tiruchanoor.
The TTD Anna Prasadam wing is fully geared to cater to provide traditional food to farmers like breakfast, lunch & dinner and purified drinking water with the help of 200 Srivari Sevakulu.
All departments of TTD are making coordinated efforts to organise food, transport and accommodation for all Pontiffs, Mutt heads and farmers coming for the first-ever conference organised for spreading awareness on Go-based organic farming, Go Samrakshana and Goshala maintenance in the country.
