Deepavali Astahanam Held at Tirumala Tempel

Deepavali Asthanam was observed with religious fervour on Thursday in Tirumala temple.

Later speaking to media persons, TTD EO said every year TTD performs Deepavali Asthanam as per Agama shastra. The utsava deities of Sri Malayappa, Sridevi and Bhudevi along with Sri Viswaksena were seated opposite to Garudalwar at Bangaru Vakili. Rupayi Harati, Naivedyam were performed. Earlier new silks were presented to deities. TTD has cancelled virtual sevas in connection with this fete. With the blessings of Srivaru, let the entire humanity glow with prosperity", he wished.

Both the Senior and Junior Pontiffs of Tirumala, CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti, DyEO Sri Ramesh Babu amd others were also present.
