Pushpayagam Held

The annual Pushpayaga Mahotsavam was held with religious fervor in Tirumala temple on Thursday evening.

 

The processional deities of Sri Malayappa Swamy, Sridevi, and Bhudevi were seated on a special platform and a floral bath with tonnes of 14 varieties of flowers was rendered to the deities in Kalyanotsava Mandapam between 1 pm and 5 pm by Archakas amidst chanting of Vedic mantras.

 

Earlier in the morning, Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed to the deities.

 

TTD EO Dr. KS Jawahar Reddy took part in this celestial fete.
