TS CS held a high level meeting with Labour and other Stake holding departments today at BRKR Bhavan and reviewed the enrolment process

The Chief Secretary Sri Somesh Kumar IAS, directed Labour department officials to prepare an Action Plan for mobilizing and registration workers working in different Un-organized sectors to be enrolled in E-Shram portal by 31st December, 2021.

The Chief Secretary to day held a high level meeting with Labour and other Stake holding departments today at BRKR Bhavan and reviewed the enrolment process. The Chief Secretary directed officials to speed up the registrations of workers by conducting special drives to mobilize them to Common Service Centres for registration in E-Shram Portal. He also directed officials to setup Worker Facilitation Centres at District / Village and ward level to be supervised by the heads of concerned department heads at District, Mandal and Village level to get the registration work done at fast pace. He also directed State levels Nodal officers and District level Committees to co-ordinate with all line departments in reaching targets.

The Chief Secretary also directed officials to conduct awareness camps on registration and explain the benefits extended to workers of un-organized sectors by Central and State Governments.  Under E-Shram scheme the workers of unorganized sectors  will be paid Rs.2 Lakhs in case of Death and one Lakh in Case of Disability.

Chief Secretary instructed  Labour department  officials to form State level Monitoring Committee headed by the Chief Secretary and District level Committee by District Collectors.
