Maha Sivaratri in Sri Kapileswara Swamy Vari Temple on 1st March

In connection with Maha Sivaratri on March 1, the Kapileswara Swamy temple in Tirupati is getting ready to host some special rituals in Ekantam due to Covid restrictions.

 

Rudrabhishekam will be performed to the presiding deity between 2:30 and 4:30am. There will be Bhogi Teru followed by snapanam in the morning between 9am and 10am. Nandi Vahanam takes place between 6pm and 10pm.

 

Devotees will be allowed for Sarva Darshanam between 5:30am and 12 midnight on March 1.

 

The Lingodbhavakala Abhishekam will be performed between midnight of March 1 (12am) till 4am on March 2.
