TTD organised the holiest Ratha Sapthami fete on the occasion of Surya Jayanti in the Magha Suddha Sapthami day at TTD local temples in Tirupati on Tuesday in Ekantam as per covid guidelines.
AT TIRUCHANOOR TEMPLE
As part of celebrations TTD is organising a host of vahana sevas at the Sri Padmavati temple, Tiruchanoor in Ekantam from morning to night. The sevas included Surya Prabha, Hamsa, Aswa Garuda and Chinna Sesha followed by Snapana Tirumanjanam at Sri Krishna mukha mandapam,and later Chandra Prabha and Gaja vahana were performed.
TTD organised Aswa vahana, Asthana at the Sri Surya Narayana temple adjacent to Sri Padmavati temple was also observed.
TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, DyEO Smt Kasturi Bai, AEO Sri Prabhakar Reddy archaka Sri Babu Swami, Superintendents Sri Seshagiri, Sri Madhu, Temple Inspector Sri Rajesh were present.
AT SRI GOVINDARAJA SWAMY TEMPLE
The deities were taken ride on seven vahanas.
DyEO Sri Rajendrudu, AEO Sri Ravikumar Reddy,chief Archaka Sri Srinivasa Dikshitulu and other staffs were also present.
AT SRI KONDANDARAMA SWAMY TEMPLE
At Sri Kodandarama swamy temple Asthanam was held to utsava idols of Sri Sita Lakshmana Sameta Sri Ramachandra Murty.
At Srinivasa Mangapuram and Appalayagunta temples also the utsava idols of Swami and Ammavaru Tiruchi and Asthanam were performed as part of Ratha Sapthami celebrations.
