TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahmam on Monday instructed the ongoing development works at Kalyana Vedic of Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple at Vontimitta in YSR Kadapa district.
Along with Engineering and temple officials, he reviewed the ongoing activities and future works needed.
The JEO told media later that the Archaeological Department officials were tasked with repairs and cleaning of the temple gopuram for which tenders were called and works would commence shortly.
Similarly, he instructed officials regarding green scaping, drinking water, and Prasadam distribution counters.
He said directions have been issued to the concerned towards laying a pathway near Kalyana Vedika and other pending works like PAC rooms development, arch, Ramakoti stupa etc. will be brought to the notice of TTD EO.
The JEO also said TTD is gearing up for the Sri Seetharama Kalyana also during Sri Rama Navami in April but a final decision will be made as per the then existing covid situation.
With regard to the Sri Ram project the Archaeology department directions were sought, he stated.

AT DEVUNI KADAPA
Later the JEO inspected Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy temple in Devuni Kadapa where the annual Brahmotsavams are set to commence from February 2 till 12 with Ankurarpana on February 1.
However he said, due to Covid restrictions the annual fete will be observed in Ekantam.
