Metlotsavam Observed

n connection with the 519th death anniversary of Saint poet Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya, Metlotsavam was observed in a grand manner at Alipiri on Monday.

 

TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahmam commenced the divine trekking by performing Metla Pooja.

 

Speaking on the occasion Dr Vibhishana Sharma said Annamacharya Bhakti reolution  through his popular Sankeertans.

 

Later he briefed on the series of events to be held at Tirumala, Tirupati and in Tallapaka from March 29-31.

 

Later the Annamacharya Project artists presented Annamaiah Goshti Ganam in a melodious manner.

 

TTD All Projects Officer Sri Vijayasaradhi, Research Assistant Smt Dr Lata, Annamacharya successors Sri Tallapaka Hari Narayanacharyulu and others were also present.
