The annual brahmotsavam in Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy temple at Tirupati commenced on a grand religious note on Wednesday.
After the thiruveedhi utsavam in the morning, the dhwaja patam with the image of Sri Garudalwar was hoisted on the temple pillar amidst the chanting of Vedic hymns in the auspicious Vrishabha Lagnam between 9:15am and 9:45am. Later Asthanam and Snapana Tirumanjanam to Ustava Murthies followed.
HH Sri Pedda Jeeyar and Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji's of Tirumala, Spl. Gr. DyEO Smt Parvati, AEO Sri Durgaraju, Agama Advisor Dr Vedantam Vishnu Bhattacharyulu, temple archaka Sri Nanda Kumar, and others were also present.
