Srivari Temples from Kashmir to Kanyakumari - TTD Chairman

 The Maha Kumbhabhishekam to the newly constructed Srivari temple in Visakhapatnam was held with religious ecstasy on Wednesday which was graced by the Pontiff of Visakha Sarada Peetham HH Sri Swarupananda Saraswathi Swamy.

 

During his Anugraha Bhashanam on the auspicious occasion, the Pontiff said, as per the wish of the Honourable CM of AP Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy, the massive temple of Sri Venkateswara Swamy was built at Visakhapatnam under the stewardship of TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy. The Seer lauded the efforts of TTD in constructing the temple following all the norms of Vaikhanasa Agama. Describing the importance of Dhwajastambha, Artha Mandapam, Mukha Mandapam, Garbhalayam, Mula Virat, he said the very darshan of the presiding deity will waive off all sins of the people and help the humanity from evil forces.

 

Later, TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy said, to enhance the spiritual aesthetics of Visakhapatnam, TTD mulled the construction of Srivari temple a couple of years ago with Rs.26crores. The five-day fete commenced with Ankurarpanam on March 18. He said as part of propagation of Hindu Sanatana Dharma, TTD is committed to construct Srivari temples from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. The temple in Orissa is set for opening in another two months and very soon the temple in Amaravati will be opened. The Srivari temple is coming up in 60acres land at Jammu and would be completed in another six-month time”, he added.

 

Minister Sri Avanti Srinivas said, the day is rewritten in golden letter in the history of Visakhapatnam with the opening of Srivari temple with the back drop of beach. With the benign blessings of Sri Venkateswara Swamy, the city will develop further in the country, he aspired.
