Foundation Laid for Ghee Plant at TTD Goshala









TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy and TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy on Friday laid foundation stone for desi cow  Ghee making plant at SV Goshala in Tirupati.

 

Speaking on the occasion the TTD Chairman said from May 1 last onwards TTD commenced use of organic products for Srivari Naivedyam for which 60 kgs of ghee were required.

 

Thereafter TTD board decided to use desi cow ghee only for Srivari Naivedyam for which they needed 4000 litres of cow milk and also decided to buy desi cows and also received few desi breeds as donation.

 

He said the ghee plant being built at a cost of ₹3 crore was donated by Mumbai based AFCON Ltd and will be ready by 8-9 months.TTD would gather 4000 liters of desi milk of which 60 kgs of ghee will be prepared and given to Srivari temple.

 

The firm manager Sri Swami,Goshala Director Dr Harinath Reddy, Dr Venkat Naidu, Director of Animal husbandry extension wing were present.

 

GODS INVOLVED IN POLITICS- CHAIRMAN

 

Responding to media queries on the devotees crush crowds at Tirupati TTD Chairman said opposition parties and yellow media were dragging even Gods into controversy.

 

He said though there was crowd crush at Tirupati during issue of SSD tokens the situation was resolved within hours and officials taken a quick decision and all devotees were allowed to Tirumala without any tokens.

 

Instead of appreciating the TTD for its quick response for bringing the situation to normalcy so soon, the opposition parties and a section of media were conspiring for creating panic but devotees were cooperative and understood the situation, he added.

 

He said had not such incidents had occurred during TDP regime and has not compartment gates crushed then ?

 

TTD chairman said on directions of Honourable AP CM Sri Jaganmohan Reddy TTD is trying to provide hassle-free Srivari Darshan but these vested elements were striving to throw mud and criticism at TTD wantedly.

 

He said for the convenience of devotees TTD is already operating two Anna Prasadam centres and one more on the anvil besides providing milk, snacks and other Anna Prasadam and also drinking water to devotees in the queue lines and compartments.
