TTD Cancels Contractor's Registration+

 TTD on Tuesday has cancelled the contract of Tanigai Crafts Company belonging to Sri R Babu on grounds of violation of the terms and conditions.

 

In a statement, TTD said that it encourages registrations by multi companies to promote competitive biddings in the making of ornaments for Srivari temple and other TTD group of temples.

 

As part of the exercise, Sri Babu's concern was also registered. It was found that it had violated the terms mentioned in GOMSNo.94 that it should hire only Hindu artisans and not Muslim artisans as per the agreement.

 

TTD action followed a complaint by Sri Venugopal of Balaji Metal Company that Babu concern had hired some Muslim artisans.

 

After a probe, TTD has cancelled the registration of Tanigai Crafts Company and also clarified that till now no work contract has been awarded to the said company.
