AP CM to Participate in Various Development Programs








The Honourable CM of AP Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy will take part in a series of development and inauguration programs mulled by TTD on May 5.

 

As part of it, the CM will lay foundation stone to Sri Padmavathi Children’s Super Speciality Hospital. The hospital is coming up on a 6-acre site near Alipiri in a 4,11, 325sq.ft built-in area, comprising a-seven floor building,350-beds at a cost of 300 crore.

 

The Hospital will have 15 special wings of Paediatric treatment viz. Haemato Oncology, Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Neurology, Cardiology, Nephrology, Gastro Enterology etc. besides, Bone marrow, heart and other organ transplantations will also be carried out to the needy children free of cost. This hospital is going to be a landmark institution in Rayalaseema.

 

Later the CM will open Cleft Palate, Deaf and Dumb wards in BIRRD hospital with the support of Mission Health for All, AP government has conceived corporate level treatment to children in government institutions.

 

In a first of its kind, the AP Government along with an international voluntary organisation-Smile Train will offer free service in behavioural counselling and speech therapy to the patients below 16 years with Cleft Palate in Tirupati.

 

Afterwards, the CM will inaugurate Sri Venkateswara Institute of Chancer and Advance Research (SVICAR) constructed by the TATA trust, spread over 1,65,000 sq.ft at a cost of 180 crore is decked up with state-of-art medical equipment.

 

Comprising of all infrastructures and providing international standards of medical services is the sole objective of this institute that aims at qualitative and affordable services in Medical, Surgical and Radiation oncology.

 

A new complex has been built with 92 in-patient beds and modern medical equipment to provide quality Medicare.

 

The Tata Trust which is already running cancer hospitals across many states is now managing the SV Tata Cancer hospital especially for poor people of Rayalaseema.

 

The Government of AP is striving to transform Tirupati into a role model pilgrim Center by developing it into a Smart City. As per 2022 demography assessment, Tirupati Municipal Corporation has a population of 7.29 lakhs. Every day Tirupati witnesses a floating population of one lakh pilgrims for Tirumala Srivari darshan from all over the world.

 

TTD collaborated in the construction of Srinivasa Sethu, an elevated express highway corridor in Tirupati to address the traffic problems and to facilitate the speedy transport of pilgrims to Tirumala besides other infrastructure for accommodation and basic amenities.

 

The project commenced on March 6 in 2019 at an estimated cost of 684 crore covering 6.86km. In the first phase, the construction of 3 kms of elevated flyover from Srinivasam circle to Vasavi Bhavan circle is completed so far which will be inaugurated by the CM of AP on May 5.
