15 DAYS15 Days Training Program for Sri Venkateswara Ayurveds College Students Held

 A 15 days training program organised by the TTD for BAMS first-year students of Sri Venkateshwara Ayurveda medical college began on Wednesday.

 

The program held on directions of the National Commission of Indian systems of Medicine aimed at promoting awareness of students on Indian medical systems, computer knowledge, personality development and Sanskrit.

 

The training program is conducted on a virtual platform by alumni students of the SV Ayurveda College who were settled overseas.

 

Earlier Veda pundits performed puja at the Bhagavan Dhanvanthri at the college campus and rendered Veda Ashirvahanam.

 

Thereafter participating as chief guest the SVETA director Smt Prashanti inaugurated the program session.

 

Speaking on the occasion College Principal Dr Murali Krishna said the 40-year-old Ayurveda College was fully supported by the TTD board for the development of an Ayurvedic pharmacy and research in new formulations.

 

The vice-principal Dr Sundaram made fresh students to pledge on father of Ayurveda medicine Saint Charaka.

 

Dr Sridurga, Dr Renu Dikshit, Dr Srinivasa, lecturers and students were present.
