As the Prana Pratistha and Mahasamprokshanam of Sri Venkateswara temple in Amaravati is scheduled on June 9 in the auspicious Mithuna Lagnam between 7.30am and 8.30am TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy and EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy along with JEO Sri Veerabrahmam inspected the ongoing arrangements for the big fete on Monday.
Speaking to the media, the TTD Chairman said, the Honourable Governor of AP Sri Biswabhushan Harichandan, CM of AP Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy and HH Sri Swarupandendra Saraswathi Mahaswamy of Visakha Sarada Peetham will be participating in the Maha Samprokshana rituals on June 9. TTD has constructed this temple of Sri Venkateswara Swamy within two years at Rs.40crores. "Though TTD has constructed many other SV temples in other capital cities also, the one in Amaravati is the mega one and we are very much keen to develop green scapes surrounding the temple, which is located in a sprawling 25acres of land.
The Chairman also said, the devotees will be allowed for darshan of the presiding deity of Sri Venkateswara Swamy after the Vigraha Pratista and Maha Samprokshanam rituals are completed, from the same day onwards. He said, TTD will also negotiate with RTC officials to make necessary arrangements of transportation for the sake of local devotees.
TTD Chief Engineer Sri Nageswara Rao, DyEO Sri Gunabhushan Reddy, All Projects Program Officer Sri Vijaya Saradhi, VGO Sri Manohar, AEO Sri Dorasami Naik and others were also present.
