Free Mass Marriages from 7th Aug - TTD Chairman

TD will conduct the free community weddings program - Sri Kalyanamastu- at all district headquarters of Andhra Pradesh on August 7.

 

Speaking to media persons on Friday morning in front of Srivari temple TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy said the Honourable AP Chief Minister Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy has decided to relaunch the poor program that was stopped after the sad demise of former AP CM Sri YS Rajasekhar Reddy.

 

He said the TTD Pundits had selected the first event of the Chandramana Shubakrut Nama samvatsara on Sunday morning between 08.07-08.17 hours on Anuradha Nakshatra and Simha lagnam.

 

He said the objective was to reduce the financial burden of their children on parents of weaker sections.

 

He said the eligible grooms and brides should register their names at the offices of the concerned district collector, RDO or Tahsildar.

 

TTD chairman said if the other state governments also come forward the TTD is ready to conduct such free weddings.
