The Maha Samprokshanam fete for the newly constructed Sri Venkateswara temple at Amaravati of Venkatapalem in the Guntur district was held with utmost religious fervour on Thursday in the auspicious Mithuna Lagnam between 7:50am and 8:10am.
The plaque was unveiled by HH Sri Swarupanandendra Saraswati Maha Swamy of Visakha Sarada Peetham along with the Honourable Governor of AP Sri Biswabhushan Harichandan and TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy.
Earlier, rituals like Punyahavachanam, Kumbharadhana, Nivedana, Maha Purnahuti, and Vimana Gopura Kalasa Avahana etc. Were performed.
Later Prana Pratistha, Brahma Ghosha, Veda Sattumora conducted followed by Dhwajarohanam between 10:30am and 11am.
In the evening, the divine wedding ceremony, Srinivasa Kalyanam will be observed between 3pm and 4:30pm followed by evening Kainkaryams and Ekanta Seva.
Junior Pontiff of Visakha Sarada Peetham, Sri Swatmanandendra Saraswati Swamy, MP Sri Suresh, AP Endowments Minister Sri Satyanarayana, Special Chief Secretary to CM Dr KS Jawahar Reddy, Principal Secretary of Finance Sri Samsher Singh Rawat, Endowments Commissioner Sri Hari Jawaharlal, local legislator Smt Sridevi, Guntur ZP Chief Smt Cristina and others were present.
Among other prominent participants, TTD Board Members Sri Madhusudhan Yadav, Sri Krishna Rao, JEOs Smt Sada Bhargavi, Sri Veerabrahmam, CVSO Sri Narasimha Kishore, CEO SVBC Sri Suresh Kumar, CE Sri Nageswara Rao and other officers were also present.
While the activities were supervised by DyEO Sri Gunabhushan Reddy, Sri Govindarajan, All Projects Program Officer Sri Vijayasaradhi, Chief Priest Sri Venugopala Deekshitulu and Agama Advisor Sri Vishnu Bhattacharyulu.
