The Pontiff of Visakha Sarada Peetham Sri Swarupanandendra Saraswati Swamy hailed the construction of Sri Venkateswara temple at Amaravati as per the wish of the CM of AP Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy as a divine replica of Tirumala temple.
In his blessing speech at the Maha Samprokshanam fete held at Amaravati temple on Thursday, the Pontiff said the temple was built with the blessings of Srivaru under the stewardship of TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy and had unique sculptural designs and the Moola Murti is the exact replica of Tirumala shrine.
Speaking on the occasion the TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy said TTD has launched the novel program to build Srivari temples from Kashmir to Kanyakumari as a part of its noble mission, protection and propagation of Sanatana Hindu Dharma Prachara.
He said recently SV temples were inaugurated at Bhubaneswar and Visakhapatnam. The Amaravati temple was built at a cost of ₹ 31 crore in two years. Similarly, Srivari temple in Jammu will be ready in six months time.
The TTD Chairman said under the SRIVANI Trust program 500 Srivari temples have been built in remote areas of tribal, Fishermen and weaker sections and in next two years plans are getting ready for building 1300 temples.
AP Endowments Minister Sri Satyanarayana said devotees who could not afford to travel to Tirumala could seek blessings of Sri Venkateshwara at Amaravati SV temple.
