Grandeur and Gaiety Marks Adivo Alladivo Finale









The prime motto of TTD to commence the 'Adivo Alladivo' programme is to bring many other Sankeertanas penned by Saint Poet and Padakavita Pitamaha, Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya, to the public fore with new talented youth, said TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy.

 

The Trust Board Chief took part in the Samapanotsavam of the nine-month old popular SVBC musical talent program, "Adivo Alladivo"as Chief Guest held at Mahati Auditorium in Tirupati on Wednesday evening.

 

Speaking on the occasion, the TTD Chairman said this unique program commenced during December last and in 35 episodes about 138 talented youth aged between 15 years and 25years participated from different parts of the country and even overseas enthusiastically to showcase their talents. He said, TTD will contemplate to conduct similar programmes in other major cities of Andhra Pradesh too in the future.

 

Versatile veteran playback singer of South Indian movies, Octogenarian, Gana Kokila, Padma Bhushan Dr P Susheela in her enlightening message blessed all the contestants for their mellifluous performances. She remembered renowned playback singers, Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao, the only person who got an opportunity to present his song at Bangaru Vakili in Tirumala temple and late Sri SP Balasubramaniam for pioneering the musical talent programmes giving the musical world its best singers. The Nightingale of South also complemented TTD for having designed such a wonderful programme like "Adivo Alladivo" and providing a new platform to young talents. 

 

Another stalwart of Carnatic music, Kalaimamani Dr Sudha Raghunathan said, Annamaiah needs to be owned by all youngsters of today's generation. She blessed all the contestants who mesmerised everyone with their talents and wished them to shine like stars in the sky.


Music Director Sri Vidyasagar in his message said, the most talented youth have been identified with this unique program. "Music is an ocean. All the participants should emerge as the country's best singers by practicing this traditional art with dedication", he wished.

 

One of the Judges of the program, renowned playback singer Smt SP Sailaja said this is a unique program aimed to bring to the limelight the new songs of Annamacharya. She said she was blessed for having given the opportunity to judge the programme from the past nine months that could become a reality only by the will of Sri Venkateswara.

 

TTD Asthana Vidhwan Dr Balakrishna Prasad said participation is more important than winning in this program and every contestant is a winner as they all received this divine opportunity with the benign blessings of Lord Venkateswara.

 

Earlier, Dr Saikrishna Yachendra, the Chairman of SVBC in his presidential remarks thanked all the judges for selecting the gems in the programme. He also said, every participant was a winner in this unique programme as it was organized by the wish of none other than the Universal Supreme Lord Sri Venkateswara. While CEO SVBC Sri Shanmukh Kumar took forward the proceedings of the programme.

 

Later, the top three winners including, First place-Kum Asrita, Second Place-Kum. Sridhruti and Third place-Sri Karthikeya were felicitated and given away prize amount of Rs.50thousands, Rs.30thousands and Rs.20thousands along with the portrait of Srivaru by the luminaries on the stage on the occasion.

 

Besides, all the nine participants who came to finals were also felicitated by TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy and others.

 

JEO (H & E) Smt Sada Bhargavi, CVSO Sri Narasimha Kishore were also present. Among other senior officers, CAuO Sri Sesha Sailendra, Annamacharya Project Director Dr Visbhishana Sharma and others were also present.

 

The entire Mahati Auditorium was filled music lovers on the pleasant evening who cheered all the participants with huge applause for their impeccable talents.
