Sravana Upakarma Held

On the auspicious occasion of Sravana Pournami on Friday, Sravana Upakarma was held in Tirumala temple.

 

As part of it, Sri Krishna Swamy was brought to Sri Varaha Swamy temple in a procession and Abhishekam was performed. Later a new Yagnopaveetham was offered to the deity and Asthanam was performed. After the ritual, Sri Krishna was brought back to Tirumala temple.
