TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy on Thursday said that TTD had made elaborate arrangements for Srivari Garuda Seva Darshan on October 1.
Addressing media after a spot inspection on Mada streets gallery and harati points along with DIG Sri Ravi Prakash, TTD EO said at harati points of South-West, North-West gate and North-East gates devotees will be allowed Darshan as five devotees could be accommodated in place of one harati person.
He said TTD decided to cancel harati points so as to enable Garuda Vahana darshan to more pilgrims. He said besides two lakh devotees in the galleries of Mada streets, another 25,000 devotees stranded at the shopping complex above Nada Neeranjanam could be given Garuda Vahana Darshan in the end round. He said as many as 2.75 to 3 lakh devotees could be provided Garuda Vahana Seva. The EO also said TTD has organised a special queue system in front of MTVAC to provide Vahana darshan for devotees.
He said as per TTD board decision all VIP Break ₹300 SED and other privilege Darshan have been cancelled to provide common devotees maximum leverage in Darshan. Since September 27 daily 55,000 to 65,000 devotees had Srivari Darshan and the numbers expected to increase from Thursday onwards and TTD is geared to accommodate the rush of devotees with extensive arrangements in Anna Prasadam etc.
TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, CVSO Sri Narasimha Kishore along with Tirupati district Urban SP Parameswar Reddy, SVBC CEO Sri Shanmukh Kumar, CE Sri Nageswara Rao, SE 2 Sri Jagadeeshwar Reddy other TTD officials and police were present.
