Governor distributes provisions to TB patients

Hyderabad, Oct 15: Hon’ble Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan on Saturday distributed rice and other essential provisions to TB patients.

The ration sufficient for at least a month will help the TB patients in getting the nutritional food to fight the TB.

Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, who adopted a total of 100 TB patients, has distributed the ration to the patients at a special camp held at the Raj Bhavan dispensary, here.

She appealed to the patients to strictly follow the medical advice and continue their treatment, while taking the nutritional intake to overcome the tuberculosis.

The Governor also released the pamphlets and other material aimed at creating awareness on the prevention of the TB.

Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) representatives, Dr. Ravi Kumar Goud of Helios Hospital, and senior officials of the Raj Bhavan joined the Governor in the distribution of provisions and other nutritional supplements.
