TTD Inks MoU with IOCL for Biogas Plant

TTD and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL ) on Wednesday signed an MOU at   Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala to set up a plant for production of bio gas from wet garbage.

SE-2 Sri Jagadeeshwar Reddy and IOCL Executive Director Sri Anil Kumar exchanged the MoU documents signed as part in of Swatcha Bharat campaign.

The ₹12 crore bio-gas plant set up as a joint venture with TTD and IOCL investing ₹6 crore each will be spread on two acre land and consume 35 tons of wet wastes daily. The plant generates 1.6 metric tones of gas which will be utilised for the preparation of food at the Anna Prasadam Complex.

ONGC CGM Sri Suryanarayana Raju, GM Sri Subramaniam, TTD EE Sri Srihari and other officials were present.
